Useful before impressive
We start with the questions that can derail a real trip: entry rules, payments, connectivity, station names, booking windows and realistic transfer time.
About PandaVisit
PandaVisit brings the practical information independent international travellers need—before arrival and on the ground—into one calm place.
Why we exist
There is no shortage of beautiful lists about China. The harder part is knowing which entry guidance applies to you, whether your payment setup will work, which station your train actually leaves from, and what needs to be reserved before it sells out.
We bring those practical layers together as step-by-step guides. The goal is not to make every choice for you. It is to help you understand what works in China, verify important details and arrive prepared enough to enjoy the unexpected.
Our principles
01
We start with the questions that can derail a real trip: entry rules, payments, connectivity, station names, booking windows and realistic transfer time.
02
Policies and availability change. We date important guidance, point to primary sources and say when a final decision belongs to an authority or supplier.
03
Entry, connectivity, maps, payments, transport, communication, food, accommodation and safety belong together. We organise them around the moments a first-time visitor actually faces.
An independent guide
The guides are free to read. Our current provider links are ordinary, untracked links. If a link later earns us a commission, we will label it clearly; commercial relationships will not buy a positive verdict.
